Celebrating Irish Culture in Utica, Rome, and the Mohawk Valley
Irish culture is famous for music, dance, storytelling, and a language full of poetry. Ireland is also known for its long and fascinating history and people with a strong sense of community. Our ancestors brought all that and more here to the Mohawk Valley.
The Irish Cultural Center aims to preserve, document, and present their contributions. Here you’ll find educational talks and classes, entertaining performances, and plenty of fun social activities. Take a tour of our H.A.R.P. Museum on the second floor. We hope you’ll join us!

Five Points Public House & Events Center
During your visit to the Irish Cultural Center, you won’t want to miss Five Points Public House and Event Center.
The pub was hand-crafted in Ireland and shipped across the pond to provide a unique and one-of-a-kind experience that you won’t find anywhere else in Central New York. The atmospheric design creates plenty of private nooks just perfect for intimate gatherings, family dinners, date nights, or business meetings over shepherd’s pie and a pint of Guinness.
The unique design of the bar also lends itself to privacy for your friend group or happy hour with the co-workers! Say “Hi!” to Jessica, Deb, or Katie behind the bar!
The Grand Ballroom seats over 250 guests for any occasion. Plan a memorable wedding reception, bridal or baby shower, or a party! The space is also great for conferences, seminars, craft shows, art galleries – almost anything you need space for, really!
