The Irish Cultural Center of the Mohawk Valley is proud to announce the return of the Byrne Brothers to the Event Center stage, on Friday February 6, for a very special 7 PM concert.
O, Brothers, Who Art Thou?
No strangers to Central New York Irish music fans, The Byrne Brothers are a high-energy, multi-award-winning Irish Trad, Folk and Dance band from Donegal, currently based in Florida. Recognized for their electrifying musicianship and stage presence, they have become one of the most in-demand Irish touring acts in the United States-headlining major Irish and Bluegrass festivals and capturing international audiences both live and online. Blending traditional Irish music with contemporary production, The Byrne Brothers have developed an exciting modern traditional sound that just screams for audience interaction.
It's a Family Affair…
The band - brothers Luca (accordion), Finn (banjo, mandolin, guitar), Dempsey (bodhran, whistle), and their father Tommy (uilleann pipes, fiddle, guitar, bagpipes) – has received many accolades, earning the 2022 Young Artist Academy Award for Music Ensemble and being named "Rising Stars of the Year" by American Celtic Radio Listeners.
All are past Fleadh champions and seasoned entertainers, having performed at Disney's Ragland Road for the past eight years when not on tour. This concert marks their third appearance at the Irish Cultural Center, and they also performed at the 2019 Great American Irish Festival.
Okay, You’ve Convinced Me… How Can I Get Tickets?
