The Irish Cultural Center of the Mohawk Valley is proud to announce the opening of a month-long exhibit starting May 15, 2026 and running through June 15, 2026, titled “Grounded Pride, Steady Strength, Rising to the Future.”
We’ve Got a Story to Tell!
Since its opening in August 2019, the ICC has endeavored to meet its commitment “to promote and preserve the rich heritage of local, regional and national Irish culture for future generations; document and present the historical contributions of the Irish in the Mohawk Valley; support and advance the causes of all things Irish in the Mohawk Valley and regionally, and foster Irish cultural awareness through educational, performance and social activities.”
We are proud of how far we’ve come in advancing those stated goals, and now we are ready to share our story: a summary view of the exhibits, the concerts, the lectures, the Pub, the films, the workshops and so many other ways we are promoting the Irish culture.
Culture AND Food? Count Me In!
“Grounded Pride, Steady Strength, Rising to the Future,” comprised of several informational panels displayed around the museum’s Gallery space, will begin with a soft opening on Friday, May 15, 2026, and have its official opening on Sunday, May 17, 2026, with a FREE reception taking place from 3:30 PM until 5:00 PM. This reception will feature a grazing table, light refreshments (cash bar will be available for anything stronger), and a genuine atmosphere of pride for all things Irish, and for the Cultural Center itself…
