The 4th annual “Great American Irish Scramble” is in the books, and by any metric, it was a great success. The tournament -- the primary fundraiser for the Irish Cultural Center - netted an $8000 profit, which was gratefully accepted by the ICC’s Board of Directors. To date, the event has raised over $35,000 for the Cultural Center and its programs.
Leading the way past the field of 58 golfers was the team of Sam Getman, John Gagnon, Matt Woodcock and Mark Babowicz, shooting an impressive 11-under 59. Capturing the 2026 Pub Division, representing the Five Points Pub, was the team of Pat Costello, Ryan Costello, Brian Bostic and Andy Starczewski, carding a 10-under 60.
Let’s Hear It For Our Sponsors!

Tournament co-director Pat Costello added “We can’t thank you enough for your support of our facility and the cultural programs we present. Through fundraisers like this, we are able to continue to be a sense of pride for the Irish community.” ☘️
