The H.A.R.P. Museum at the Irish Cultural Center of the Mohawk Valley continues its popular Lunch and Learn series on Wednesday, September 9th at 11 AM, with a special reflection of September 11, 2001, when the world as we knew it stood still and changed forever.

Retired Utica Fire Department Deputy Chief Peter Caruso will be on hand to share his recollections of that day from the point of view of a first responder. A Question-and-Answer session will follow his talk.

Caruso joined the UFD in September 1991 and retired in May 2012 as Deputy Chief. He oversaw incident management, command and control of fire fighters in critical operations, daily personnel management, training, and safety. He currently works for REM Fire Systems to train companies and clients in fire safety.
